Presented by the Korean Cultural Centre UK in collaboration with the Seoul Arts Center, 'Yun Posun House Concert' is part of the 'SAC on Screen' series.

'SAC on Screen' is a high-definition imaging project of performing arts initiated by the Seoul Arts Center in 2013, marking the first time it ventured beyond Korean domestic performance halls. The featured performance was originally presented at the '17th Seoul Spring Festival of Chamber Music’ in 2022.

The 'Yun Posun House Concert' is curated under the theme of 'Cellissimo,' a fusion of 'Cello' and '-ssimo,' emphasising the cello as a prominent instrument. The performance takes place within the exquisite setting of the historic Yun Posun House, once the residence of the fourth president of the Republic of Korea and now designated as Korean Historic Site No. 439. Renowned for its architectural beauty, this venue offers a unique blend of traditional Korean architecture and chamber music heritage.

While chamber music is rooted in European royal court culture, the synergy with the traditional Korean architecture of the old house has elevated this performance to become a highlight of Chamber music festivals.

The concert will commence with a melodic string ensemble, featuring pieces such as 'Ma Mere I'Oye for Piano 4 hands' (excerpts) by M. Ravel and 'Polonaise de Concerto for 4 Cellos, Op.14' by D. Popper.
